Turf Stalkers was established in 2005 when I had a dream to be a business owner at 12 years old. Little sister started helping for several years around the age of 11. As the company grew the name of the business grew with it. The inspiration of the name Turf Stalkers was created when I later served in the military and became an aircraft mechanic on C-130's. During the 5-year commitment I became an assistant crew chief to the dedicated crew chief on one of the aircrafts and such duties involved were naming the aircraft. After everyone's ideas, we settled on the name Night Stalker. Now bringing it back to the company, we wanted a unique name that not only stood out in the lawn care world but tie it back to the military service and the name Turf Stalkers was born. While serving the commitment to the country, Dad and Mom kept the company moving forward and growing. Dad being retired from the State of Alabama by this time allowed him to be the boots in the field while still serving the state part-time. Mom still works full-time with the State of Alabama and would come home to keep company finances in order. Recently, we hired little sister back as the social media influencer. Thus, bringing this company full circle as a family-owned operation.
